The introduction of CIB Credit Scoring Model, CIB has developed short video clips (Dzongkha & English) for the purpose of educating the public on the importance of credit scores and general tips on how to improve and maintain a good credit score. It is to reach out to citizens from all walks of life and enhancing their understanding of the credit scoring system and its impact on their creditworthiness thus helping to promote financial discipline and a culture of responsible borrowing in the credit market ecosystem. (The advocacy videos are concise and easy to understand, and covers the various aspects such as the factors that affect credit score: hot to monitor/improve one’s credit score, and the impact of the credit scores on a borrowers’ creditworthiness and loan eligibility.)
