Bhutan Development Bank Limited (BDB) is pleased to announce the shortlisted candidates for the post of Teller. The shortlisted candidates are advised to report at NRDCL Hall, Thimphu for the Written Exam on 10th December 2024 at 8:30 AM sharp.

Important Instructions for Candidates:

  1. Candidates are advised to bring original CID for verification.
  2. Candidates are requested to bring calculators for the exam.
  3. Based on the written exam results, applicants will be merit ranked for the viva. Shortlisting will be conducted at a ratio of 1:5.

VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

The Management of Bhutan Development Bank (BDB) would like to announce vacancies for the positions indicated below in the table:

  • Contract basis
  • 3 years (Extendable based on the performance and requirement)
  • Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in IT related degree from a recognized University obtained on a full-time study mode.
  • Should have completed at least 10 years’ work experience in the field of ICT
  • Should have headed a Division/Department in an organization for a minimum period of 3
  • Preference shall be given to a candidate with the experience in the Banking or Financial Institutions, especially core banking system.
  • Candidate should not be older than 50 years of age at the time of submitting the job application
  • Basic pay Nu. 62,530 per month with an annual increment of 2.5 % of the basic pay.
  • 60% Contract Allowance of the basic
  • Fixed Allowance Nu. 37,518
  • Monthly prorated LTC 1250
  • 25% PBVI (Subject to fulfillment of Annual Performance Compact)
  • Other entitlements as per the HR ISR
  • The remuneration shall be further negotiated based on the work experience and relevancy.
2 Database Administrator

  • Advanced degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Finacle CBS, database management and optimization.
  • Proven track record of successful database projects. In-depth knowledge of Oracle Database and related technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement
  • Oracle Certification.
  • Remuneration to be negotiated based on the relevant qualification and work experience.

Interested candidates fulfilling the above prescribed eligibility criteria may submit their job application (BDB format) along with the following mandatory documents to HR Division on or before 17th July, 2024 by 5:00 PM.

The international applicants meeting the Database Administrator above prescribed eligibility criteria can also apply for the position of Database Administrator.

Mandatory Documents:

  1. Duly filled BDB application form which can be downloaded from bdb.bt
  2. Copy of valid Citizenship Identity Card;
  3. A copy of Academic Transcripts of Bachelor’s Degree and others (if applicable)
  4. A copy of valid Security Clearance Certificate (approved online)
  5. Valid Medical Certificate not exceeding 6 months from the date of issue;
  6. NOC from the current employer, if already employed;
  7. Certified documents to support total number of years of work experience and position(s) held along with duration;
  8. CIB report;
  9. Only the prescribed qualification against the vacancy announced will be

 

Shortlisted candidates will be intimated through phone call as well as announced in BDB website for the conduct of interview & written exam. Original documents should be produced at the time of interview. In case of withdrawal, the next candidate in line will be considered on merit basis.
