Housing Loan

Housing loan is provided to the Bhutanese citizen public for the following purposes:

• Construction of new house/Purchase of house or flat.
• For the repair/renovation/reconstruction of the existing house.

QUANTUM

Home Loan

• Maximum Loan is 10 million or LTV 90% whichever is lower

Commercial Housing Loan

• Maximum Loan is 50 million or LTV 80%
• More than 50 million or LTV 70%

FLOATING RATE

Housing Loan: 8.75%
Commercial Housing Loan: 9.00%

TENURE

Maximum term period of 40 Years for both.

Eligibility

• Land on which the construction is to be carried out should be in the name of the applicant.
• Must be 18 years and above
• Must be creditworthy
