Vacancy Announcement

The Bhutan Development Bank (BDB) is pleased to announce the vacancy post of General Manager, ICT Department.

Qualification Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in IT related degree from a recognized College/University obtained on a full-time study mode.
Experience   Should have completed at least 10 years’ work experience in the field of ICT.Should have headed a Division/Department in an organization (preferably Bank/Financial Institution) for a minimum period of three years and with experience in Core Banking System (CBS)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities   Good communication skills including presentation;Strong analytical abilities;Sound professional and administrative ability to make decisions or recommendations that will improve the Bank’s bottom line;Possess relevant knowledge and experience in ICT;Ability to lead and manage the ICT departmentPossess excellent team work, networking, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
Employment On contract for an initial term of 3 years and The contract may be renewed based on need and performance.
Remuneration   Basic Pay of Nu. 62,530/- Contract Allowance – 60% of Basic PayScarcity Allowance – 20% of Basic PayFixed Communication Allowance: Nu. 3,500/-Conveyance Allowance: Nu. 3,500/-Other entitlements as per the Bank’s HR ISR
Age Candidate should not be older than 50 years of age at the time of submitting the job application.

  1. Filled BDB Job Application Form (application form)
  2. Curriculum Vitae – The CV should highlight the relevant work experiences, knowledge, skills and other specified criteria for the post;
  3. A copy of valid Citizenship Identity Card;
  4. A copy of Academic Transcripts of Bachelor’s degree and others (if applicable);
  5. A copy of valid Security Clearance Certificate (approved online);
  6. A copy of CIB report;
  7. Certified documents to support total number of years of work experience and position(s) held along with duration as per requirement given above;
  8. A copy of Appointment Office Order for division/department head as may be applicable;
  9. A copy of Audit Clearance Certificate from Royal Audit Authority as may be applicable;
  10. The applicant should submit names of at least two (2) referees with email addresses and contact numbers; and
  11. The applicant upon selection must submit “No Objection Letter” from the employer, if currently employed.
